Evan Longoria owners rejoice. Longo will return and be in the lineup Tuesday night against the Toronto Blue Jays. Longo missed 4 weeks with an abdominol strain. This is great news for owners with so many coner infielder going down with injuries ( Seems like everyone except Chipper Jones strange enough). He'll be a nice fit in the Rays lineup that's been on a hot streak having 2 of 3 Players-Of-The-Week in a row ( Damon and Zobrist).
Longoria will fit nicely in the lineup between Sam Fuld and Johnny Damon, OBP guys, and Ben Zobrist and Matt Joyce, RBI producers. He may be rusty from the start but don't worry about it, he'll be a top 3 third baseman by season's end even with the time lost on the DL.
